Untitled New Work by Monica Bill Barnes and Robbie Saenz de Viteri

Untitled New Work is a new live performance piece by Monica Bill Barnes and Robbie Saenz de Viteri, planned as a world premiere at Playwrights Horizons, the Off-Broadway company on West 42nd Street. It has no final title yet, so the listing carries the placeholder name the company itself uses.

The company says the piece will look at the small, easily forgotten moments that pass every minute on a New York City sidewalk, and that it will be different at every performance. No plot, cast or format details have been released beyond that. The pair's live pieces draw on comedy, storytelling, theater and movement as much as on dance, and they say they like to take dance to places it does not usually go.

The company lists it for Fall 2027/Spring 2028, while Playbill reported that it is due in fall 2027.

Playwrights Horizons announced the piece on May 28, 2026, as one of nine works in its 2026–2027 season announcement, which also gave early plans for the 2027–2028 season. TheaterMania included it in a group of three productions set for the months after summer 2027.

The project continues a relationship with the theater. The two creators earlier presented Many Happy Returns at Playwrights Horizons, and they staged Lunch Dances at the New York Public Library in 2025.
