About Broadway Explorer

An independent guide to Broadway shows, schedules, theaters and tours.

What this is

Broadway Explorer is an independent guide to what's on Broadway and Off-Broadway right now: every show, its theater, the full performance schedule, and where the touring productions go next.

We keep it plain. Each page opens with the facts (run time, intermission, age guidance and dates), then a guide written for someone deciding what to see. We don't rank shows or give them stars.

What we cover

  • Every musical and play running, in previews or announced for a Broadway theater, plus the Off-Broadway shows we can confirm, and the shows that have closed since we started keeping track.
  • Performance schedules for the coming months, checked several times a day and shown in Eastern time.
  • National tours of Broadway shows: which cities they stop in and when.
  • Short, dated guides and news about openings, closings, casting and extensions.

How we gather data

Schedules, dates and theater details come from the productions' published listings and public announcements, and are refreshed automatically. Every schedule page says when it was last checked.

We write the descriptions, guides and news ourselves. We don't reuse press copy, reviews or text from other sites, and we don't show other sites' ratings.

We do not show ticket prices: they change by the hour, and a stale price is worse than none.

We started keeping track on Oct 14, 2026. Shows that close after that date stay on the site as an archive.

How we make money

Some ticket buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide. If you book through them, we may earn a commission; your price stays the same.

Partners never decide what we write, which shows we list or in what order. Shows without an affiliate link get exactly the same page.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell tickets ourselves or advertise "deals".
  • We don't publish ratings or reviews, our own or anyone else's.
  • You don't need an account, and we don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts.
